Healthy Habits For Longer Days
Now that days are getting longer, you can rejuvenate and/or enhance your progress toward reaching your existing health goals.
As we transition from colder weather to longer, warmer days – thanks to Daylight saving time – you can kick your routine into high gear outside!
Here are several ways to stay on track and maintain your healthy habits now.
Get some sun in your backyard. As the days become longer, we get more time in the sun. Use the sun to take in your daily dose of Vitamin D as you spend some time outside. Vitamin D can boost your mood and immune system.
Maintain your Habits of Motion. Use the warmer weather to continue your healthy habits of motion. Take your habit outside and take a bike ride or walk around your neighborhood to continue to stay in motion.
Take time for yourself. These uncertain times can feel stressful and hectic so it is important to take time for yourself when you can. It can be as simple as jogging outside or reading Your LifeBook each night, in an uninterrupted setting.
