Allow yourself 5 minutes a day to record what you’ve eaten for the day and your feelings about what you did eat. This will help you stay on track, and recognize unhealthy patterns and what triggers them.
In the past we would tell you to write it down, and if you are old school, that is a great way. However if you are New School, then try one of the fitness apps. We recommend My Fitness Pal.
My Fitness Pal, records your water intake, your food intake, exercise and weight. The app even has thousands upon thousands of store bought, food, condiments and drinks. If you don’t want to type out the name of what you consumed you can always just scan the bar code and it will almost certainly already be in My Fitness Pal’s database. And even if it isn’t in the database, all you need to do is type it in 1 time and your settings will remember it for future input. Doesn’t get much easier than that!!
